Lt. H. W. Rohde of No. 332 Sq. was on an ambulance mission to the
island of Frya. He made a
landing attempt on nearby Kvalvr island but aborted and hit a wire fence
when pulling up and the aircraft went down a hill a through a stone
fence. No injuries to the pilot
or his two passengers. |

Jlster 05.08.46, when in transit from Bardufoss to Kjeller. The pilot, sgt. N. J. Scholz, managed
to fly to Sola. Repaired at
Sola. Later transferred to Lista.
Crashed here 19.08.46 when making a break test. The plane took to the air and dived
from 150 meters and crashed during the landing attempt. The pilot private Reidar Grindheim,
was unhurt. Later received at
Kjeller depot. |
